Join us here where you will discover why we all worry from time to time, understand the physical impact on the body and learn effective strategies to help your child to manage that ‘monkey’ in the mind! You will also gain valuable insights into how you can help your child to foster a more positive and resilient mindset. This course is designed for parents, caregivers and educators alike.

Module 1 – Understanding Why We Worry
You will learn:
To really understand why we all worry from time to time (understanding is key to overcoming worries and anxiety)
About the ‘monkey’ (and other ‘animals’!) in our brain
To identify the physical signs in your child’s body when they worry
To educate your child to identify the physical signs of worry in their body
To understand the negative impacts of allowing day-to-day worries and anxiety to influence your child’s behaviour
The first steps of what to do when your child tells you they are worried about something or they present with physical symptoms of worry
Module 2 - Practical Coping Tools
You will learn practical coping tools to help your child to manage their day-to-day worries by:
Exploring potential coping tools for a number of common day-to-day worries
Discovering which coping tool(s) may best suit your child with a fun practical worksheet, which you can do with your child
Putting the learnings from module 1 and 2 together to help your child tackle their day-today worries and anxieties
Module 3 - Promoting Positive Wellbeing
In the final Module you will:
Learn how to teach your child to actually challenge their ‘monkey’ mind once they have calmed their physical symptoms from using the steps in Module 1 and 2
Discover the benefits of challenging the ‘monkey’ mind in order to reduce the occurrence of repetitive worry and anxiety
Bring all your learnings together to help you to help your child to manage their day-to-day worries and anxieties.
